just wondering. Im pure healer and Im happy with my build for that char and IM plenty happy with my W/Me and N/E build. Im thinking of maybe going smite for awhile just for a change and would like your ideas on what makes a good if not great smiting monk. thanks!

bonetti's defense is key for energy replenish. I use that one myself.

Strength of Honor and Judges Insight on your warriors and ji on rangers.

The rest of the skills are pretty much rubbish versus good players unless you are using a lot of ward against foes.

PvE but if you want to throw in your ideas on PvP thats cool post both. Im strickly PvE now, but my guild has a hall and I know I'll do PvP/GvG later.

There are a lot of good farming builds that use smiting. Zealot's Fire along with balth's aura, symbol of wrath, and a spammable like boon or guardian works well.

You know, you don't have to go full Smiting. You could do this and retain your Healing capabilities:

10+1+1 Healing Prayers
10+1 Divine Favor
10+1 Smiting Prayers
5+1 Protection Prayers

Orison of Healing
Heal Other
Healing Touch
Zealot's Fire
Shield of Judgement
Smite Hex
Mend Condition (better for PvE than Ailment, in my opinion, since you don't get hit with many conditions that hurt for worse than one Healing Touch can cure)
